Before installation, a calculation is made to determine if the roof cavity is vented to present day O.B.C. standards, if not, extra ventilation is provided in the Soffit before the new panels are installed.

Heavy gauge aluminum is used to cover the wood Fascia installed by the builder. It is typical that when the Eavestrough is replaced, aluminum Fascia is also installed. If the Eavestrough is not being replaced, it may be possible to install new Fascia under the existing Eavestrough.
